Hey guys!! I am back after a week! How have you been doing recently? The weather in Sydney has been quite terrible last week and it was absolutely glorious yesterday and today, but it seems like it will be back to wet Sydney again. I left the job at the cafe last Friday and I have got only one week left until I leave this country. I have worked at there for about two months which seems to be quite a short period of the time, however i felt really sad on the last day. Anyways, let's try not to think about that. I don't wanna be anymore emotional. All I can say is I have had such an amazing time with them!! So move onto the main topic of the day!! It was a couple of weeks ago that I went to a little district called 'Spice Alley'. The first time when I went there was actually back in few months, so I already knew what the place is like and since the first visit, I have been there to grab some good food every two weeks!! The place is a little bit hidden but as soon as you spotted that area, there is a long alley with full of different types of asian cuisines!! You can find of course Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Malaysian, Indian and stuff. Address: 7 Kensington St, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia You have to follow this small sign to get to that location. It is kind of subtle sign, so you might miss this, but you can always check the exact location with the Google Maps anyway. lol After you walk through a narrow path, what you can see is a great vibe, people enjoying the food and most importantly, bunch of asian food stalls all the way from the entrance to the end. It almost looks like an outdoor food court. Every single one of the food stand gives off great smell and you just stop by each shop and make you even harder to make a decision of what to go for. It's a very small area but it is full of people most of the time and you might find it difficult to grab a seat. The last time I was at there, I went for the thai food and I had fried rice noodles which was absolutely incredible. In fact, I went back there to eat exactly the same meal again! haha This time however, I wanted to try something different even though there was one side of me craving for the same food! I better be more adventurous and challenge another thing!! I dropped by a Malaysian stall and went for Malaysian food! There are some good food and Nasi-Goreng looks so tempting, so I couldn't resist not to order. My friend had other thing which I can't remember how it was pronounced. It also looks so nice tho!! The Nasi-Goreng was so tasty, I haven't properly tried to eat it although I have heard it was good. It was indeed much better than I expected and you can actually add some sweet chili sauce so you can spice up the taste a bit. If you are in Sydney, you should definitely check out this place although most of you already know the place. The great thing about it is you can come back an try new place and someday you will complete all the stalls and are gonna discover your absolute favourite one!!! It might be a nice idea to bring yourself sometime just for the lunch or dinner. You will surely enjoy no matter which shop you pick up. Thank you for your time and i might see you soon from another food blog ;) Cheers! Y
