Hi guys! What's up?? I am writing another blog to post today!! It is going to be about the food again though. People back in japan, they are still having the winter time whereas here in Sydney weather has been still comfortably warm until last week and now it feels like summer is almost over and the heat is going away which I'm not really happy with because that means I'm loosing the opportunity to go to the beaches and I like doing that. However, the weather this week has been pretty depressing. A couple days ago, I went out for the dinner with my flatmates even though it was showering when we left the house. One of the flatmates picked up a thai restaurant close to our place, so the rain didn't really affect us and didn't get wet much. When we arrived there, it was already full of customer as it was weekend, but the crowd defines that the restaurant has a great reputation, so I was excited to eat because I like thai food in general. Adress: 706 George St, Haymarket NSW 2000, Australia This is the Thai restaurant I went to for the dinner. I may sound wrong, but the inside of thai restaurant was different to what I expected. I mean it actually looks much more stylish and fancy than I imagine. I even felt like this was a wrong place for us to be in. I like the interior a lot like the way they light up the room and nice atmosphere and when you come inside, there was a great smell of thai food giving off from the kitchen. And it is quite large and spacious so the customer won't feel squashed each other. There was a wide range of that cuisine that makes me hard to choose one to eat. All the menu from noodles to fried rice seem to be delicious. After all, we ordered some spicy meat and rice noodles and some fried rice. They have lot of spicy choices so if you like something spicy, you should definitely go check this place out. I ordered the one on the top which I honestly don't remember what its called, but it is a rive noodles with chicken. I already knew how it would taste like because i have already tried the same stuff in a different thai food shop, I wanted to give it a try to see the difference. I really enjoyed this one as much as I did with the other one. This one costed a bit more, so I felt like more delicious.lol As for the one below, that was my friend had, we also had some fried rice, but I totally forgot to take a photo. This spicy stir-fried meat was so good as well, but it was literally so bloody hot like I almost burnt my tongue. However the tea I ordered was really sweet as hell, that kind of helped my mouth settle down. Overall, Thai food is getting more popular in Sydney. I have seen more thai restaurants than Japanese restaurants. If you like thai food particularly spicy ones, you should definitely go visit and enjoy the taste of it. There will be a couple of more blogs to post, so keep your eyes on it. Thanks for taking your time to read the post. See you guys soon!! Y

Hi guys!!! Do you still remember that i had my own blog page??lol That's like how long i haven't uploaded any contents on this page. I honestly don't remember last time I blogged.haha I really wanted to put up something for a long time but there are some issues with myself. It still sounds like I am making up some acceptable excuse, but I haven't had wifi at home in such a long time. There have been so much annoying stuff happened in the last several weeks and it's all sorted out. That's why I can now get back to this and get cracked with putting more posts on here. It's quite hard to explain what was going on with my life recently, but I just realised I can't live without wifi environment now. I am not an Internet addict tho. It doesn't really make sense, does it? Anyway, its not the place where I can rumble around with pointless stuff, so let me talk about the main theme now. I have this habit call cafe hopping like exploring the cafes and find new cafes around where I live in. There was one day that I had day off but it was a bit of rainy day, I decided to go to a cafe really close to my place with my flatmates and went out for the lunch. Adress: 458 Wattle Street, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia This is what the inside looks like. I mean you can't see the whole shop from this photo, but it was really stylish and cool. There was a nice and relaxing mood going on which I require the most for the cafes. I felt so comfortable staying here and it would be so nice to bring some books or laptop and chill out in here on my day off. I went for Matcha Latte because they luckily have one of my favourite drinks, so I didn't have a choice. It was actually Korean-themed cafe tho. Every one else copies me so I couldn't take photos of other drinks..haha This Matcha latte was so tasty and I finished this so quickly just like drinking cold water when you were starving!! I think the price of this wasn't that bad either. It was about $5 or something for the regular size which I think it is normal in Sydney. What I ordered for my lunch was called Chili Tofu Bowl. It was actually a vegetarian option and I ordered this one for some reason sounded very nice to me. It tastes so delicious, but I couldn't finish it because my stomach was like half full, so even though I ordered something healthy, I literally couldn't put everything into my mouth. And they used brown rice as well which i have never tasted before, but just to clarify I am not criticising the food. It was my fault that I couldn't eat it. |
