Hi everyone! I am back in this cafe hopping blog whether or nor you are excited. Basically, I have been quite busy with my job and life recently. I literally I haven't got around to doing this. So whenever I find a chance like now, I am trying to upload blogs as much as I can. I have already got couple of more cafe hopping done and those will be up on here hopefully soon, too! I will write one of the oldest ones from those today. It was actually quite a while ago, when I just started working at Starbucks, I used to have more free time than now, so I went into town to visit a coffee shop. It was in the area called North Laine where you can find loads of vintage shops and nice coffee shops. And I found this cafe when I was looking for good coffee shops online. This place is called 'Black Mocha'. This independent coffee shop is not that big but is very relaxing, calm and comfortable to stay in. The staff and barista are very friendly and easy to chat. Look at the pastry above! It looks so nice and delicious! It's got some sandwich and cakes, cookies and stuff. Because It was around lunch time when I visited there, I wanted to have something with coffee, so I went for spinach sandwich with some chili. They toasted the sandwich and it was soon good!! I really enjoyed it! I love sandwich a lot and I sometimes eat them but it was one of the tastiest ones I have ever tasted!! I wish I could make that as well! haha It was a new kinda sandwich and never tried anything like that but what's important is tasty!! This is the coffeeI had. It was simple cappuccino, but the taste is very promising and the barista has an amazing skill!! I remember it finished it quickly because it was so good!! Also with that delicious sandwich! It has some more seats upstairs so it can have quite lot of customers even though the building is not massive. It has some cool atmosphere and got to learn some tips for my own future coffee shop!! Anyways, I had a great time at this cafe although it was kind of far from where I live! lol There was more coffee shops in that area, I will definitely step in more and find more good coffee shops!! Hope you enjoyed my cafe blog in a while! I will put up a new one hopefully soon! Cheers!! Y

Hi guys!! What have you been up to!! Yes it is Friday night and here I am staying at home and editing the blog which is fine for me! Its one of days you wanna chill out at home and relax myself.. Isn't that a perfect way to spend the night?? Let me explain this first though, this particular blog is mostly about for myself this time. Basically I went to another branch of small batch coffee roaster the other day. I have already uploaded that one before, but I visited another one, so I wanted to document this. Address: 111 Western Rd, Hove, Brighton BN1 2AA, UK The one I went to the other day was in town in Brighton. This one is in Hove and I personally prefer this place to the other one. I don't know why It just has got nice atmosphere. As soon as you are in the shop, there is a coffee counter and the seats and tables are allocated all around the work space. Just on a side note, the toilets are downstairs but you need a code to get in there and that code is kind of complicated and I can't remember even now.. lol The inside is really warm and relaxing very clean. There is also free Wifi which is super essential in coffee shops. I might as well complete all the small batch shops in Brighton because this is the second one for me. There is a couple of more still. I ordered a cappuccino! I am quite into drinking cappuccino in these days although I did have a latte on my second visit! Both taste amazing and the barista and the staff are very friendly. I enjoyed my time and of course the drinks there a lot. I was quite impressed with the swan latte art. I would like to be able to make that sometime!! The other one in the city was much more spacious and because its in the centre, it is hectic whenever you go. Maybe there is some quiet time during the day. I am already planning to visit another branch, so I am not sure if I will upload that one too. I am just guessing it would be a similar type of content. Anyways, Thats it for today's cafe blog!! As it was mentioned, this is manly for me to read back in the future, but I still hope you enjoy this! Cheers!! Y Hello everyone! How have you guys been doing?? Informing you of my updates, I have finally made some progress with my job hunting and I feel quite excited for it! I uploaded the fashion blog after quite some time and today i will write about another cafe blog on here wether or not you are happy wit this. It was almost a week or even before when I first visited this shops. It is actually more of a bakery rather than cafe, but they do still have some coffee, so I would say bakery/ cafe place. Address: 157 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2AD, UK The name of this place is 'Gail's Bakery'. As you can probably tell they call themselves bakery, they have a wide variety of breads and pastries. Their strength must be the taste of bread I think although I didn't have any of them this time!! I really liked the atmosphere of the shop and for some reason, it reminded me of the bakery that I used to work at back in Sydney. I found some similarities in there. I felt a bit like home coming here! haha I literally recalled myself working in Brickfields. Friendly staffs with a smile and incredible smell of the pastry. When I walked passed and had a glance at the pastry from outside, I honestly thought I had to go there! To be fair, I have already been this place two even before uploading this blog because I really liked it and first time I had a latte, so I wanted to come back another time to try cappuccino as well. Basically I have had both latte and cappuccino already. They are my favourite. It is kind of hard to describe how it tastes like even though that is what I meant to be doing on here. It has got like really simple, but also tasty. Nice ad warming flavour if that makes any sense. Anyways, as far as I know, it was amazing coffee based on my proof of visiting there twice. lol The price is pretty much the same as other individual coffee shops! All the drinks are reasonably priced. To add more, there is quite a few of them in London, too. It would be easier to find the places in London instead of Brighton. URL: https://gailsbread.co.uk This is the upstairs! Looks lovely and really cosy!! When I was there last time every single customer bringing their laptop and doing their stuff. That is it from today's cafe blog!! Thanks for your time and I hope you liked it! Cheers! Y Hi guys! I am back blogging. It has been a little while since the last blog. What have you been up to recently?? My days in Brighton has been a bit frustrating with some tiring situations, but I am trying to sort them out, so don't look down and head up and think positively. So I am kinda behind of this cafe blog things because I have got several more cafes I have been to recently ,and still haven't got around to uploading. It is time that I gotta get crack on them!! lol Please don't think i am lazy tho! haha It was still on my first week in Brighton that I went to visit this coffee shop! And it is called 'Small Batch Coffee Roasters' Address: 17 Jubilee Street, Brighton, BN1 1GE, UK This is a fresh-roasted coffee in independent cafe and there is actually quite a few in the city. This is one of them and possibly in the centre of the city and maybe the busiest one thought the day. Therefore the address I mentioned above is one of the main ones which I went to. It is amazing to know that it started with a purely independent cafe, but now they expanded the branched and established a great success in Brighton. As you can see, the interior of the shop is impressive. Stylish furniture and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staffs with incredible customer service. Great community with them which makes the customer want to come back here again not only for the coffee, but to see the staffs and have a chat!! Literally Ive been there 2 days in a row. I had a latte on my first visit, but for my second time, I ordered cappuccino because I loved it. Excellent taste of coffee and cappuccino with some chocolate is the best!! The latte was also really tasty reasonably priced, but I completely forgot to take a picture of it. I am sorry!!lol Not to foget tho, there are also some amazing looking pastries and sweets which I should try sometime! I feel like I always say I gotta try this someday and never happens, so I really have to soon! There are more obviously other shops of Small Batch, I might pop into another one and feel the difference. This is all from this blog today!! Thank you for your time!! Cheers! Y Hi guys!! Here I am! I have been here in the last few days. I was quite ill since few nights ago, when I tried to fall asleep, my head suddenly started aching. I have been with this pain all night along. It was really hard to sleep. I even felt like puking... It was one of the worst nightmare I have had so far. It was just tough and struggling. I took some medicine and getting better now. Now I got much better and good enough to upload a blog! The other I was in the mood for burger although Im in that moos quite a lot of times during the week., so I went to the gourmet burger restaurant i walked passed another day and It looked really good. Address: 53-54 North Street, Brighton, BN1 1RH, UK So, this is located in the centre of the city it wasn't too busy when I was there, but after I finished eating and i was about to leave this place, it got more people because of lunchtime. It was first time for me as well trying this burger and I have no idea how to order and everything. Therefore, i just went for a simple cheese burger and chip no drinks! lol One of the interesting things about this burger shop is that you can customise your own perfect burger! If you wanna give it a try, go for it!! I didn't check how it works in detail, I am such a bad blogger! haha It looks like a typical American style burger shop if that makes sense. At least that's what I felt when I saw the inside of it. It is very spacious and lively. Furnished with very stylish and modern chair and sofas. Really cool vibe! It is good for all, family, couple, single. Except for one thing that I felt the price was slightly expensive in my opinion. Because they don't have meal deal, you need to order separately. So If you had one burger and chips, It could cost nearly 10 pounds which is more than the average fee for the lunch I guess. This is the burger I went for this time!! It is a classic cheese burger! It tasted absolutely amazing!! The chips was also great and crispy! I personally am not into thicker and greasy and too dried ones. The burger was really juicy and reminded me of shake shack ( Another American burger chain.)!! It was soon easy to finish this burger because it was so good! It was my first proper burger time in Brighton but I picked up probably the best one already! Will definitely come back and try a different burger even though the price slightly bothers me... haha No complaints! haha So this is my first burger blog in such a long time! How was it? I hope you enjoyed it! I will try to find some other shops near future! Thanks for reading guys! SEE YOU SOON! Cheers!! Y |
