Hi everyone!! What's going on today?? Whoever is reading this blog, I hope you are doing good! So first of all, I apologize for not having been able to upload any blogs for a while, it is just because I have been quite hectic at work with unexpected staffs down. All the sudden events are now over and settled down, so I can concentrate on this now even though I still have work full time, but not long day or crazy hours anymore hopefully! Brighton, the place where I live now has been experiencing incredible weather!! People feel so summery wear t shirts and shorts! We officially have spring-ish weather now! Thanks God! I said good bye to miserable and wet English weather ! One of the things I really like about Brighton is that it's got the beach, so whenever the sun comes out people including me go down there and sunbathe!! Anyways, Here is not really a place to chat about the weather, so let me move on! haha So this story goes back to more than a month ago when I was in brighton, It was actually in Kemptown which is east part of Brighton near Marina. I had a day off, so just wondered around that area. I actually found this coffee shop via an app called 'Best Coffee'. when I was walking around I remembered there was a good coffee shop in that area, so I just popped in! The name of the coffee shop is ' GROUND COFFEE HOUSE'. It is apparently a local chain coffee shop in Brighton. I mean there are a couple of branches in Brighton and Lewes. So I assume their business is quite successful and it has an amazing reputation with the coffee! When I was there, although it was still week day, it was fairly busy. As soon as I got in, I saw loads of attractive sandwiches, burger, some pastries ( muffins or cakes) They all attract customers before ordering the drinks! I like how the menu board is done! like all hand writing, it remained me of one of those black boards from school! But that one was more organised, clean and readable! I think it makes things easier with the board in case when there is a change on the menu, they just need to erase and write new things on it! I had a cappuccino same as usual! I particularly liked the fact the price are very accessible. I just had a cup of coffee but, the cups are massive and price is fairly good!! It is normally £2,80 for a latte or a cappuccino, here was £2,60. I mean there is only 20p difference but thinking about the size of the cups, it was so worth it! The price was cheaper and they come with bigger cups, so it's all good for me! It came with a gorgeous latte art which is always a plus to make the drink more attractive! My picture starts to look more like a flatly now rather than only coffee-focused photo. I personally prefer this way of capturing the drink recently, i just think it looks much cooler! haha As I walked around kemptown, I spotted some more coffee shops there, so when I have another chance i would like to vista again and go to other shops, too!! Anyways, thank for taking your time and I will see you hopefully soon again!! Cheers! Y
