Hello guys! How are you all doing today!! I have a day off today, so I thought I could do some blogging and I still got some content to put out for you!! Instead of having a lazy and doing nothing-day, I decided to get cracking on with this page!! It was again more than a month ago because I procrastinate to upload this one. But it is still following chronologically. I mean this cafe hopping happened after I visited Shoreham. As you can probably know by now, I go to all the different coffee shops in Brighton whenever I have days off, I went this one on my off from work as well! It is located in town in Brighton, only few minutes walk from churchill square towards North Laines direction. It is on the corner of the street and the name is called 'The Coffee Counter'. Address: 25 Church Street, Brighton, BN1 1RB, UK Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/TheCoffeeCounterbrighton/ Literally it is on the corner of the church street and I think it is a good location even though its not on the main road. At first I genuinely thought it was called the coffee corner as in locating corner, and the theirs words look quite similar if you look at them for a second! Im not trying to confuse you guys with the name, it just what happened to my mind! haha It is not a massive coffee shop and but still a decent amount of seats and space. You will feel so welcomed as soon as you open the door the staffs are fairly friendly to me and being nice to me! I have actually visited this place ages ago, but at that moment I forgot to take pictures and stuff. I didn't have enough information for this!!! One of the things I found it interesting is that the seat I was sitting, there was a full of books you can read and there are so many different kinds!! I personally don't read books much which I think I should be doing actually, but I do like the idea of it!! I totally forgot to take the images of inside of the shop, so it will be all down to you guys now to find out. I wanted to keep this as a surprise!!! ( in fact, I just simply didn't have a pics! ) This is just me making some stupid excuse! haha Bear with me. However, what I did not forget was to take a pic of coffee I had!! And here it is! As per usual, I went for a cappuccino! Looks decent and taste amazing! It was served really quick but still really enjoyable taste! This time it didn't come with some chocolate, but it is fine for me if that is the way they do! lol Also, it has got a cute latte art that makes the coffee more presentable and attractive! It is now essential part of coffee drinking! haha There is one thing that I regretted that is I didn't try any food even though they seem to have amazing food such as breakfast and lunch! They have some yummy toasties from full-on meat toast and vegan options as well!! If you wanna eat toasties with lots of meat, go for it! It is important that they offer vegetarian and vegan options to some customers!!! Menu is are pretty much written on the wall and they are all reasonably priced and of course great portion!! Every time the staffs walked past with nice smell food, I was like ' Oh my god! How am i not eating this!' I didn't get any in the end, but maybe I might try next time for breakfast! It really sounds good to me!! Anyways, I am going to say this is all from this cafe blog today! Thanks for your time! I have been to a new coffee shop recently, so I will be preparing for that soon!! Until then, see you guys! Cheers! Y

Hi you all! How have you been?? I haven't been able to upload any blogs in a while!! I think it has probably been more than a week since the last time!! I am going to move straight into the topic of the day! No small talk or rambling even if I wanted to do! Anyways, so It was already quite a while ago, but I went to a little town called 'Shoreham-by-sea'. If I am correct is it the part of west sussex area and in between Southwick and Worthing. Although my job place is located in Shoreham, I have never actually been to the main part of it until then. Therefore, I have always wanted to visit and my colleagues told me its not a big city or lots of things going on, but it is a nice and quiet place. Then I decided to go there when I was off from work. Normally I use the bus on the way to work and I always get off just before Shoreham. So this time I stayed in the bus until I get to the destination!! It was a fun journey, being able to see some views from the bus that I have never seen before. Especially it was a sunny and gorgeous day!! Basically, Shoreham is such an amazing little town! I did think there wasn't much stuff happen, and not many places to visit, but there is a large river and it has a long bridge across the river!! The view from the bridge was so stunning and one of the things I like about visiting quiet places. So the reason why I visited there is of course to walk around and explore the place a bit, but what i was more excited about is to go to a nice cafe and have a coffee, which I can't stop doing!! lol The cafe I went to was called 'Tom Foolery'! Address: 6 High Street, Shoreham-by-sea, BN43 5DA, UK It's so easy to spot this coffee shop! It is literally on the high street in Shoreham and right opposite side of the bus stop!!! I was there, it was chilled, relaxed, nice and not too busy which makes me comfortable to stay. The staff who served me was really a nice guy and he was really polite! It gave me a great first impression of the place and atmosphere!! It is very important to be friendly to some extent, but also important to treat customer with respect in my opinion because at the end of the day, they are the one who comes in and be the judge of the place! lol I don't know why I am saying this tho! ;) But he has such a good distance with me I felt really welcomed and cosy!! I had a cappuccino as usual! It came with a lovely latte art and the taste was indeed good! Not too strong which I prefer! I stayed in there for an hour or so, a customer sitting next to me was having some soup and it looked really nice, I assume they do offer some delicious breakfast and lunch as well!! Maybe next time when I have a chance to visit, I will try ! I would say it is the best coffee shop in Shoreham so far although I have no idea about the other places as I haven't visited any of them yet!! Anyways, the weather in Brighton is absolutely incredible today, so I am going to head to the beach and leave this blog here!! Hope you will have a good day! See you until next blog! Cheers!! Y Hi guy! How are you all doing today? Hope you are having a lovely day!!! Where have I been? The answer is that I have just not been consistent with uploading blogs!! I could have done this, but I didn't!! I admit my laziness on this blog. I will just say I have been with work as in real work ( Barista) recently since now I became a full time. In fact, today' topic is about over a month ago when I visited London and went to a Japanese ramen shop!! It was during my holidays and I spent a few days in Exeter and then I spent one night in London. I had few hours to kill before my coach time, so I decided to do a bit of touristy thing in there! And I ended up going to a Japanese Ramen shop I have always wanted to visit when I come to London!! I finally had a chance to do it, so I did it!! I was not easy on the way to get there because as you ca imagine, travelling involves a huge amount of stuff to carry with I mean most of the time!! haha Therefore, when I arrived , my legs were dead and I was super hungry!! The restaurant it called ' IPPUDO'.... Location : 3 Central Saint Giles Piazza Street, Giles High Street, London, WC2H 8AG, UK Website: www.ippudo.co.uk There are actually three branches in the centre of London now!! It is a definite proof of its popularity!! I only specified one of the addresses that I actually visited. The rest of the branches are also located in London still!! As you can see the picture above, the restaurant looks quite posh and fancy and also extravagant! Everything is expensive in London, so I understand why it looks so brilliantly shining. Mostly because of the good camera quality I suppose! haha As a bit of an explanation, this ramen shop is actually founded in japan and now has become internationally renowned ramen chain and it seems to be a quite success!! This company is such a famous one even in Japan and there are a number of outlets in Japan as well!! When I was in Sydney, there was an Ippudo there, too, so I have been that one, too! You can see this brand brought the Ramen culture to the other countries and cultivated our Japanese food culture!! Yes, we do eat Ramen quite a lot and there are just a large number of independent shops in Japan with unique flavour and soup and all that! It is such an amazing thing that I can experience the same taste as I enjoyed back in Japan!! Especially when I miss Japanese food which happens so many times, you can go there and have a great ramen and make me appreciate the goodness of Japanese food!! That is the one I ordered and it was a new one on the menu, so I felt like I had to try! And it looked most delicious anyway!! But normally they have all the pork-bone based soup with added soy sauce and miso. There are some other Japanese bowl meals and side dishes on top of the Ramen menu!! The one I had was a slightly spicier than their ordinary ones which I really liked about, Since I haven't been able to eat such a high quality ramen for ages, I was so satisfied after I finished the meal, In fact, I finished the soup, too which is a bit too much for me! lol Even though it was like £15 for it which is kinda expensive for one bowl of ramen, it was definitely worth it! It was that good anyway!! I wish there was another shop in Brighton as well, I would definitely be a regular customer and spend quite a lot of money! lol I mean you just want to go to sometimes not all the time! When you guys have a chance going to London and are hungry, you should definitely check out the place, and I can promise you will enjoy it and probably get addicted to it!! That is all from me about this ramen shop! I could talk about it more, but then it would be too long and rambling. I will go back to cafe blog again in the next article whether you're excited or not! haha Anyways, See you until then!! Cheers!! Y |
