Hiya!! How are we all doing! I am very well. The temperature here in Brighton all of a sudden dropped and it's been absolutely freezing during the nights recently! But during the day, it is still warm for around this time of the year I think! I missed the weather in Paris so much! It was crazy good when I was there! Anyways, this post is going to be about my last day in Paris!! We woke up a bit later than yesterday as we joined the festival and visited the Eiffel Tower and got home quite late! Saying that, I woke up at 9 or 10 am and went to the bakery nearby and bought them breakfast and I got me an almond croissant! I had the same thing 2 days in a row! You can't go wrong with pastries in Paris!! Such a typical and normal thing to eat, but it is the way over there! haha I already booked the eurostar back to London departing around 5 pm so we didn't have long enough time to visit lots of places! It was quite packed and scheduled really tight! We visited the Notre-Dome cathedral first, and I came here the last time, but it was sooooo gorgeous and spectacular!! I really love seeing historical sites and appreciate the time back in the day! Because it was Sunday, there was a worship being taken place, I found it a bit strange that we all tourists got to see what they are doing during the worship! And they are holding Sunday service whilst visitors are walking around prayers. After that, it was lunch time, so we had a look around the area and popped into a restaurant where you can eat french crepe!! I thought I had to try the authentic french crepe as one of the experiences. I was struggling to make a decision coz they all seemed to be really nice! I wanted to try lots of things. I came to the decision and decided to have Galette with chickens and mushrooms! Oh my god!! That was soon yummy, I ordered the great one! I always pick up the good one when I go to a new place! I am quite lucky with that !! haha I am pretty sure it was lots of tourists, but for me it was tasty, so I had an amazing experience of eating french food! Then, I was walking around again, just looking for some souvenirs! I went to lots of places to buy some gifts!! I managed to buy decent amount of presents for myself and friends. I still haven't given those to my friends tho! haha It became the time where I had to catch the train, so we travelled back to Gare du Nord and said good bye to my friends! It was really sad, but it made me think it is possible to come to Paris to see them again and they promised me to come to Brighton one day!! I got all my stuff I dropped in the lockers !!! I am gonna tell you why it says 'stressful journey!' from now!! I was looking for the gate and trying to check in for the eurostar! And I found the right platform, however, before the check in there was a massive crowd waiting for the check in! It turns out that there was a disruption in London that affected the train' delayed and they didn' even open the gate and my train came a couple hours later to get in! I was supposed to be back in London about 6pm, but by the time I got there it was 9pm or sth and I was absolutely exhausted but still had to catch the train back to Brighton. It was just bloody long old journey and stressful one!! I was literally dragging myself to my flat and on top of that, it was raining!!! Thanks England! YOU are so Typical! lol Overall, I had an amazing trip to Paris, especially being able to see my great friends again, also getting to travel and visit amazing sites!! I would love to go back there but on next holiday, I would also love to travel another country!!! My trip to Paris came to the end!! I will continue to upload some stuff in food pages, so keep your eyes on that!! Cheers guys!! Y

Hello everyone!! I am doing the blog on my second day in Paris which was the only full day I had during that trip! I feel like this one is gonna be quite long post! haha So I really wanted to make the most of it! I needed to visit as many places as possible!! It was an absolutely glorious day in Paris on that day! The highest temp was 28 degree, I have to admit I have got such a good luck in terms of weather!!! I can't believe the different between there and England! lol We left the house and took the train to central Paris and We jumped off the train at the Arc de Triomphe! As it was Saturday, it was just full of tourists taking pics and so packed around the massive gate! That excitement of walking up the stairs to the ground is speeches! It is just magnificent and can't describe how beautiful the Arch! As soon as I saw that in your eyes, I was simply overwhelmed! We walked through the under ground to get close to the arch, and got to see it from the bottom and it was really high and I didn't do that last time! It was too busy at that point to go up to the top of the arch, I definitely have to see the view from the top next time, I am 100% sure, that will be quite an experience! I won't miss that next time!! You can see the picture below, visiting there made me want to dance! haha I was in such a great mood ! Then we continued to walk the Champs-Elysées Street and explore around that area! Just kept walking until the end of it,but we didn't go in any of the shops on the street you can to be honest find most of the shops in here as well! However, I did enjoy wandering around and touristy vibe there! After that, we headed to the famous bridge called Alexandra lll. Again, taking pics like typical classic tourists, but did admire the view of Seine River and I could see the Eiffel Tower from the distance!!! It was cool to be able to see that even though, you actually didn't go there close! It is more like the Tower was watching us traveling the city! Literally my eyes were too busy not to miss everything I saw and you can't stop looking around because everything you see there is absolutely beautiful especially in such a sunny day! And my friends were showing me around the city and every time when I found a new spot and explained the name of the sites in French I couldn't understand! It was like that the whole way and it was so funny! I knew I had to remember the names, but I do find them all so difficult to pronounce!! And we ended up walking back to Louvre Museum although we didn't actually go in as we didn't have the time! The plan of the day was so packed and you need many hours to decide to go in there and I have been in there before anyway, so it wasn't really necessary! Just watching the museum itself from outside is also enjoyable! I was actually supposed to meet more friend for lunch, so we were kind in a rush to go to our rendezvous and managed to get there, they picked up a nice place for lunch!!! We had the lunch there unfortunately they didn't have en English menu so I used my friends help to decide what to eat, but it was really good! I had a salad with some french baguette! After we finished the lunch, I was craving for a coffee since we had been having a hectic day, I was literally dying, so I selfishly dragged everyone into Starbucks! I was hoping to get a decent coffee, it rescued my coffee need! And I said good bye to my friends, even though it was really short time for a reunion, It was so nice seeing them again! I am glad I made that happen!! Then I took a tube to go another place, which is a festival held in my friend's University!! I got invited by them, I thought it was amazing way to spend the night in Paris, so I was like hell Yeah!!! The gate opened at 6pm and we got there a bit early, so we were having some drinks outside the venue like everyone else was doing! Some people were already drunk at that point. The venue was very cool and full of students in that university and it has got an amazing vibe and so much fun!! I didn't really know the theme of this event, but enjoyed dancing to lots of unknown tunes! lol The festival itself was closed after 10pm so we left there, and my friends suggested that we should go see the eiffel tower in night version!! Took the train again to the central and The Eiffel was shining with lights and it was just the most beautiful view I have ever seen in my eyes!! It is a shame that my phone couldn't capture its beauty, but I can still share the images!! It still looks gorgeous in the image tho!! haha But in real life its incomparable to this one, I was admiring the view and I could literally watch this the whole night! It was one of the best things I've ever done in my life! If anyone hasn't done this experience, you are missing out your life! No one will say it is a bad idea!! What a best way to end my only full day!! I will post my third day in Paris if I have a chance!! Cheers!! Y Hello everyone!! I'm uploading a post on this travel page today after the last Amsterdam blog was up! And it has been ages since that! I didn't get to travel as much I wish, but I managed to have my first ever holiday in my new job! So I was thinking where should I visit and not spent too much money? Then it turns out Paris is a great place to visit for the weekend as I don't have many days!! I didn't plan much this time and I only made a list of sites I wanted to check out! Actually it was my second time to go there, so I kinda wanted to something deeper than the last time! So on my first day, I woke up at 5 am and needed to catch a coach to London. I was absolutely dead and soon sleepy I slept the whole journey to London from Brighton, so it felt really quick and smooth and no rush to get there! I booked the ticket for Eurostar, so I went to St. Pancras International Station!! I had an hour and half gap before the departure, so I had a cheeky coffee and jumped on eurostar! It was quite comfortable journey to Paris, I fell asleep again a bit and I arrived at Gare du Nord around 2pm!! I dropped my big bag at the station, so I can explore around while I am waiting for my friends to pick me up! I just literally walked around the city and was enjoying the view and ended up in a coffee shop! I had my first ever cappuccino there which wasn't the best one if I'm honest! Other things like, vibes, people, food seem all to be really nice!! I quite liked it!!! Then I had like another hour before meeting friends, I was checking where to visit and I decided to go to Montmartre which is one of the classic touristy sites and it was the closest one I can find and quickly visit within an hour! Check out this stunning view!! This is absolutely spectacular!! You can see the panorama of Paris city from the top of the hill! I was standing on the same place 5years ago, but the the scenery I saw was as beautiful as before and It felt so great to be back to the same place!! I could literally stay there and appreciate the view all the day,but I was in a rush, so I couldn't stay and I only stay for a short time and walked down and headed to the station to meet my friends!! It was so good to see them again after more than 2 years!! It actually felt actually really weird being reunited with them in Paris because we met each other in Brisbane! Then I just went to their house and had some drinks and chilled ! Getting ready for the full day next day!! That'll be it for my day 1 in Paris! Stay tuned for the second day if you fancy!! Cheers!! Y Hi guys! It is me back on Amsterdam blog!! I just wanted to upload this because one I really wanted to write this since I had such a great time and two, Its better if you do it whilst your memory is fresh enough in detail!! So this si going to be full second day!! I woke up around 8am ish which is quite early because I had one guy who snored so bad the whole time, so I couldn't properly sleep ffs... lol I literally can't stand with that, It is a nightmare for me! So it wasn't the best feeling to be waking up to and got ready and left the hostel about 9 am. We were planning to have breakfast at a pancake shop in town, so we went there! It was already full of customers and seems to be a typical touristy spot for the breakfast!! I will talk about this restaurant more in detail in food blog in the future! I had strawberry one and my friend went for savoury one! Then we got out of there after an hour and half. And we just wandered around the centre and as we booked Heineken Experience from 11 o'clock, we took a tram and headed to the place!! It was such a cool experience to visit there, it was one of the most popular spots to check out for tourists and I did it!! we got to learn quite a lot about history about it and how it's become successful and brewing method, ingredient, uniqueness and stuff!! We also did beer pouring challenge and I bloody nailed on my first ever go! It was a machine one and not the actual beer server, but I think i will do a good job as a bartender! haha At the end of the tour, we could try a glass of possibly the most fresh and extra cold Heineken beer!! That included the ticket fees which is really cool! I don't normally drink beer, but it was soon tasty and chilled beer is the best any way!! I felt a bit tipsy and I really enjoyed it! It was much more fun than I expected!! After we finished the visit to Heineken Brewery, we felt quite hungry and I found an amazing coffee shop/ cafe. We just popped in! Again, i will write more about this in the food blog, so keep your eyes on it!! We had the great lunch there although they have expensive food. but good quality food make up for it!! It was definitely worth it!! Then after we had the amazing lunch, we did another wander around headed to I Amsterdam sign!! We actually went there a day before, but since the weather was nice and my hay fever wasn't as bad as yesterday thanks to the tablet I took in that morning! The day before it was full of tourists and was absolutely manic! There was no way yo could take a picture of yourself with no one around the sign! haha The second visit was still busy, but it wasn't too bad, so we thought it was another great photo opportunity!! We took so many pictures again like classic tourists! haha People were asking each other to take pictures of themselves! lol After that, we visited Van Gugh Art Museum which is nearby this sign. It was literally few mins walk from there, and you could see building! I didn't know a lot about his works and life before that, like I was only familiar with the name, but I now I feel educated being able to visit there so seeing many of his arts! It was such a cool experience!! NO pictures was allowed, so I didn't take any but it was highly recommended spot and you should definitely check out!! Then we had some time to do for souvenir shopping, I bought some weird stuffs and got back to the hostel to drop those stuff off. We came out to town again and had the dinner and stopped by a pub!! I had a gin and my friend had a beer which is not Heineken! haha There were two couples from Ireland, so we had a bit of chat and after we left the pub, we went to The Red Light District!!! Our final touristy spot to visit!! It looked really beautiful in the night and I was in a total shock just by walking around that area! I am not gonna talk about it a lot, it was the best place to visit!!! I wanna go back there again! lol Overall, We had the best holiday ever!!! Because we used English pretty much the whole time, I didn't feel like I was in the other country, but it was all stunning and beautiful canals!! I can't wait to visit there again! At the same time, I would love to visit other countries, too!! Okay, I think that's all from me! The next day was just consisted of flying back to the UK. Where is the next holiday's destination gonna be? You should keep your eyes on me!! lo Cheers guys!! Y Hi guys!! How are you al doing today!! It has been ages and I haven't opened this website for such a long time!! I missed writing stuff on this page and I haven't got around to cracking on with this recently!! However, I had a week off from work last week and I was planning to travel when I got my holiday! I was looking for some countries to travel in the meantime, first Italy came up which is where I have always wanted to visit so bad and I have friends there so If I go there I can potentially meet them again. However, things changed along the way, then I decided to go to Amsterdam!! It is also one of my dream countries to visit and I was so surprised how cheap it was to fly there from England!!! I was checking the tickets online, then saw the price and I could(t resist it, it was kind of like an instant decision, ' I have to go there, its gonna be incredible!!' I planned for a couple days to spend there, bought a ticket and booked a hostel. On the night before, I was so excited!! I travelled actually with a friend who I met in Brighton it was the best idea to travel with friend, it surely made the trip more fun and enjoyable!! We arrived there around 7pm ish and headed to the hostel we booked I will talk about the hostel experience other time! The first impression I had there was Oh my god, its too much pollen!!! I kept sneezing and literally couldn't stop it! haha I was worried about the days ahead! The hay fever indeed killed throughout the days! I managed to buy tablets and took them, so it went down a bit ,but It was quite a nightmare!! lol Next morning, we woke up and went to town. As soon as I got off the bus, what i saw was hundreds of cyclers going and coming all around your directions!! It was an absolute madness! You basically have to keep your eyes out to them the whole time! They ring the bells whoever is in their way! haha it was just ridiculous! haha We just basically wandered around the city with no plans at all.. lol It was kinda good because we didn't plan thoroughly, it just ended up traveling quite in a spontaneous way which I like! It's not a massive city as soon as you got to the centre, you can walk around pretty much everywhere. I really enjoyed walking and seeing beautiful city and architectures nature. All the buildings you see are so historical and attractive, and they are different to England ones obviously. There are so so many canals around the city and everywhere was photo opportunity!! We stooped by the Anne Frank's old House which is one of the popular tourists attractions in Amsterdam. However, I didn't know you are supposed to buy tickets online in advance, we were trying to do it outside of the spot, but all the tickets are all unavailable on that day and we checked the next day ones and they were already sold out, we realised how competitive it was to get in there!! It must have been a good place to visit and could have been an amazing experience, so we skipped this and had the lunch in a little cafe. Oh my god,,, I just had chicken club sandwich but it was such a massive portion!! It was too hot inside and I couldn't finish it!!! lol To be honest tho, we did go to a gelato shop afterwards, even though i was proper filled up! haha It was really hot and boiling I regretted I didn't bring any shorts!1 I was sweating myself badly! haha We went to a zoo then, but as It was closing, we couldn't go in, so organized yeah?? haha It was such pain in the ass that I was suffering from hay fever, I couldn't stay outside anymore, We decided to come back to the hostel, as soon as we got back there, it started raining so hard , we were kinda lucky that we made it before that! Then, we just chilled in there and were getting ready for the next day!! I will talk more about next day in the next article because otherwise this blog will be too long!! It was such a fun first day!! I will see you in the next one real soon!! Cheers! Y |
