Hello guys!! How are you doing today?? I hope you are having a lovely day!! Here in Brighton has been such a lovely day!! The sun is out, nice and warm not too cold anymore!! Feels like the spring is finally around the corner!!! Anyways, today's main topic is about the coffee shop in london!! After I left Exeter, I was heading to London to seem friend. It was my first time in a while!! I had an amazing time with him and stayed at his place and next day I had some free time before going back to Brighton, So, I decided to go to the central part of London and to eat some lunch and coffee. I had my lunch in the other place which I am actually planning to share with you guys in the next blog. So I won't tell much about it here yet, but I really enjoyed it. And I was looking for a coffee shop at where I stayed for he lunch. I found few shops around that and picked up one of them that attracted me the most, then I was walking to the place and jumped in! I was such in need of coffee like desperate for a good coffee!! I had a long coach journey back home after that, so the caffeine was essential! The coffee shop is called ' TAP coffee' I wasn't well familiar with the locations and geography in London, but it was fairly easy to spot the place. London is such a big city and everything is packed and has high density, so I was expecting most of the coffee shops in London are very tiny and only several tables and seats in my imagination, however, in this coffee shop, it was really spacious in a vertical way!! This coffee shop is apparently London based coffee shop and as of now has three branches around that area!! It seems quite successful that they have three shops in such a busy city! I suppose there is a lots of demands from coffee lovers!!! You can basically have a long way up to the end of the shop! There is a counter with full of different kinds of pastries when you enter the shop, They are all looking delicious attractive, it seems like because its sort of narrow place, the coffee bar was built in other part of it. It seems to be a causal, but really comfortable shop. There are loads of benches attached on the wall with a number of tables. It looks a bit like a industrial vibe!! It was the centre of London, I stayed there for about an hour, but it was quite busy and constant customers in and out during my stay!! Some are using computers and some might be tourists like me visit the place and take pictures and stuff.. It is big enough to meet friends and have a chat with coffee. I was actually travelling London with a massive backpack on my shoulder, so I needed a place to relax and have some rest. It was indeed a perfect spot for to stay and relax and wait for a coach time!! I had a cappuccino as usual! But that didn't have chocolate on or in it!! Maybe that is their style or there might be some chocolate in the condiment area!! The coffee tastes so good! It was literally what I needed after I had lunch! It was slightly bitter for me but I was drinking, I got used to the bitterness and I started enjoying and I don't want to use sugar for the coffee. Also, It has an amazing latte art, i don't know how to explain that, but it looks like a swan!! It has got an extra heart at the end which I thought really cute! haha Maybe I should try at work, too see if I can do the same!! I do have to say that tho, I understand everything in London is expensive, but the cappuccino was slightly more expensive than the average price. It is worth paying for it, so I am happy with it!! As you can see they have some amazing looking sweets and sandwiches, too! I should try someday, when i was there because it was right after the lunch, I was completely full and I only wanted to grab some coffee!! They all look tasty needless to say!! Just looking that picture did make me a bit hungry!! haha Overall, I really enjoyed staying there with a cool vibe and friendly staffs! I would love to come back when i visits London next time!!! As I promised on this article, I will write about my lunch on that day in the next blog! So Keep your eyes on here still!! Don't go away!!! I will see you soon!! Cheers!! Y

Hi guys!!! How are you all doing today! Hope you are having a good one!! It has been a while again!! The last blog was over a week ago! I have been working very busy at work, five days straight!! When I am doing this blog, its been already almost a month since I travelled Exeter! I am just surprised how quickly the time goes by! It makes me think that my time is limited and there is gonna be an end to this! so I have to make the most of it and enjoy myself as much as I can including this blog experience!!! So the topic of today's blog is still related to my trip to Exeter. It is going to be the last but not least cafe hopping blog during the stay!! It was my last full day in Exeter and I woke and had a coffee in the other place actually the one I introduced in the previous blog. I was looking for a place where I can have a hot chocolate and some sweets! To be honest, I don't really eat much sweet but since its holidays and become a bit naughty and treat myself some! And then I spotted this cafe called ' Boston Tea Party'!!! Excuse my bad looking pictures! haha It wasn't the best picture of outlook!! This place is facing to Queen St, which is one of the main streets in town in Exeter. Therefore, this can be easily spotted and it is fairly a large place. This is apparently a cafe chain serving breakfast, coffee, food. There are bunch of shops in England. As soon as you enter the shop, you can feel the good vibe and people having fun! It is a two stories building. They have loads of different types of pastries behind the till and they are so appealing and attractively displayed. I ended up buying a loaf cake, I'm sorry that I forgot the name of it, but its made with some coffee. I will show you the photo later! The ground floor is not that big and there are only few seat along the window, however, if you go upstairs, I am pretty sure how spacious it is!!! It is hard to count how many tables and seats upstairs! More surprisingly, most of them are taken when I was there!! haha It is actually not my first that I came this place, in fact, I have visited this cafe before four years ago. I met some friends and I have no idea what I had at the moment. This is the upstair space! It looks so homely and welcoming. it is really lively and energetic vibe, but at the same time, it is really a cosy place. You can see how spacious it is. This cafe is good for people with different purpose of visits!! Some people do some uni stuff and some are looking after their kids, facing their laptops to do some business work. It is also a perfect place for a catchup and to have a meet up event! In fact, I found a group of people sitting around the big table !! Thats the hot chocolate and a cake I ordered!! The hot chocolate was quite sweet but that was what I needed then! It was still freezing back then, so hot chocolate helped the days like that one! And I really enjoyed the cake, too ! You can kind of tell what I meant by coffee cake from the picture above. It's got loads of nuts and other things too!!! I spent their for about an hour just enjoying the drink and the cake and also I was reading the book on my I pad!! Of course, there is a free wifi so you can use Internet ,too !! This is one of my favourite cafes in Exeter without doubt! You can have a relaxing time and perfect spot to have breakfast and lunch with your friends!! On top of that, all the drinks and food are really cheap, it's also good for saving the money!!! I think that is the finale of my cafe blogs in Exeter, if there is another chance to visit here, I would love to come back this cafe. Also I wanna discover some more good cafes!! Thanks for your time!!! Cheers!! Y Whats' up guys! How are you all doing today?? Enjoying your weekend so far?? I have a first Saturday off in a while!! I can't even remember the last Saturday off honestly! It is my fate to work through weekends as a barista! It does feel strange sitting on the conch and having a chilled time on Saturday night! I could have been more active and go out and stuff, but decided to stay at home and have a lay in!! In fact, I have got the time to make another cafe blog in Exeter!! I can't believe it was already two weeks ago, I have to get this done whilst my memories are fresh. lol Anyways, let's get cracking on!!! It was the second day of the stay in Exeter! I woke up in the need of a good coffee, so I was using another Google Maps to find out nice and cool coffee shop in town!! Then one of them stood out to me and the name is called ' Camper Coffee Co.' This company is mainly focused on the mobile coffee apparently. so I assume they normally serve their coffee with a van in a park or somewhere like that! I have heard this name Camper somewhere before I didn't feel completely unfamiliar with the name! I must have seen vans! haha This place is located in an arcade area and one of the shops is this! There are some other shops such instrument shop, vintage shop. The whole area is really cool and they are all run independently. Since each shop is close each other, people who work there pop into the coffee shop and gram some coffee and have some chat! There is a good community there! There is a second hand clothes shop next door and I visited and looked around it was really cool! They have great clothes which nearly made me buy! It was still early when I went in, so there weren't lot of customers, but I bet it will be busy most of the time!! Although it is in a hidden location! As you can see in the pictures above, lovely interiors and attractive coffee station and bar! I love about the brick wall it just makes a perfect atmosphere in the shop!! Loved the unique choice of tables and chairs of course they have a free wifi!! It has such a relaxing vibe and really tranquil, you can probably fully concentrate if you need to do some work! Look how gorgeous this cappuccino is!! It came with an amazing latte art! I can see a nicely done swan and some little cute hearts on that!! It tasted absolutely amazing!! One reason is because I was desperate for the coffee that morning, so that feeling made the coffee taste even better in my mind! It actually surprised me that this cappuccino was in a glass cup instead of a china mug! I mean It doesn't necessarily have to be though! It was a new thing for me ! Overall, I liked this coffee shop a lot! It is a shame that I can't go back there soon! It is too far from Brighton!! I am pretty sure next time I visit Exeter, it'll be my top priority! I have actually got another one last cafe blog to upload!! So If you still fancy, keep your eyes open! Look forward to putting up next one as well! see you then!! Cheers!! Y Hi guys! Here I am! I got back blogging this page again!! It has been several weeks I guess since the last cafe blog. I had a week holiday a few weeks back and I spent most of the time in Exeter where I visited and stayed for 7 and half months for years ago. I took a coach to London from Brighton and from London to Exeter so I could save some money! Overall,I've by far had the best holiday!! Being able to see my old host family was such an precious experience and I finally made that happen!! If you wanted to know more of it, go check travel page in this blog! Anyways, I stayed in Exeter for three nights in total. In the meantime, what I must do is to discover the coffee shops in Exeter!! I can't leave their without doing some cafe hopping! It is part of my life no matter where my destinations are! Looking for new coffee shops in new places is an unavoidable thing for me! It sounds quite contradicted, but when I was there four years ago, I wasn't even a big fan of coffee, i was more like a hot chocolate type guy! I still do drink them when i want to. I didn't know any of the coffee shops in Exeter back in the day, so for me it was still total new discovery! I was using the Google Maps to find some nice cafes and I picked up one of the closest ones from where I was searching from in town! Address: Princesshay, 4-5 Roman Walk, Exeter EX1 1GN, UK Website: www.coffee1.co.uk/locations/exeter/ The name of the cafe is 'Coffee#1!! I love it! It is located off the main street, so I was little bit struggling to spot this place but as soon as you got on the right street, it will be there!! There are lots of outside tables and seats, however I stayed inside coz it was too freezing to me anyway. Inside is quite spacious and nice furniture comfy sofa seats!! There were variety of drinks from coffee to juice and stuff and lots of options in food and pastries as well! I had a cappuccino and caramel shortbread! The coffee tasted really good!! I went for a regular size, but it came out with a massive coffee cup and i was surprised!! More surprisingly, the price was really cheap!! Normally If I have coffee and some sweets, it will cost me little over 5 pounds. Here, I only paid less than that!! The coffee and sweet were worth more than the price!!! It seems a good place for catching up with friends and for studying as well since they have free Wi-fi which I think it is essential in coffee shops!! I was sitting by the glass wall and enjoying the sunshine and just planning some things to do there! It is so nice and the place and chilled and relaxed;) I really loved it!! My host family knew this place, I assume its very popular coffee shop in Exeter! So when you have a chance to visit Exeter and you are in need of coffee, make sure you go there to drink the coffee! I have visited two more cafes during my stay in Exeter, so I will try to upload those as soon as possible! Keep your eyes on it! See you later!! Cheers!! Y |
