What's up everyone?!! How are you doing ? I am back here again, this time after a fairly a short gap. The reason is I would like o put this post out so bad!! As it is gonna be one of my absolute favourite coffee spot in the world!!! So basically, I have come across this coffee shop from my friend ad he is such a proper coffee connoisseurs. I could trust his coffee choice 100%, even though it was in London, I was happy to take the train to go there just for a goof cup of coffee! lol I went to london on my day off with my friends, up early to busy Capital to find a great coffee. There we finally are! Took us good old couple of hours to arrive. It is the coffee shop called ' Omotesando Koffee' ! Address : Fitzrovia, London, W1J 5EZ, UK Website ; ooo-koffee.com Instagram : www.instagram.com/omotesando.koffee/?hl=en As i said, it is situated in the centre of London in one of the busiest area. It is close to Oxford street where all the first retail clothes shops are lined up, It is a bit off the main street, on the ground floor of that huge building, you will see this really beautiful looking shop. I was like this is it when I was standing outside the shop! haha One of the shops i have been dying to visit since I became a coffee snob. I finally made it there with friends!! I got quite excited for a moment! As soon as we got in, it blew my mind and really great atmosphere, super simple. One of the reasons I like about that place is its minimalism, Minimising things that is not necessary or unattractive to the customers, only keep necessary things for the shop. It makes the whole place so attractive, and clean. It definitely creates the professional work place, literally their workspace is operated in a little square surrounded by the quite sophisticated wood, Interestingly, they divide the till are and coffee work area completely, so you order your drinks at the counter, and you will receive the tickets to hand into the baristas, instead of their receiving the tickets through the machine. The staff on the counter will take you through what coffee is available with proper knowledge, so it seems to be complicated, but it is not as it sounds. They basically only have few selections of sweets, but like they only one of each choices out as display. It apparently used to be only the little square sweets available, but now it seems that they are doing a bit more stuff. They basically have espresso-based coffee, pourover coffee, matcha latte, mocha, etc, You get to choose the beans from couple of options, their house blend and single origins. I went for their hand-drip coffee with El salvador single origin, It caught my interest. My friends chose the other single origin pour over. It didn't disappoint me at all! The quality of coffee was just exceptional!! Very clean, smooth, balanced acidity, hard to describe!! They gave us a simple of the other single origin, it was also really beautiful!! It was quite generous of them!!! That was such a satisfaction that I finally got to visit the dreamiest coffee shop! I would love to come back for more coffee, but something different next time!! I went to another coffee shop on that day, If I remember, i will try to upload that one as well! Highly recommended one! definitely check out!! Cheers! Y

Let me just begin this blog by saying. Oh my god, Where have I been the whole time since the last post! lol I know I have been away so ages, possibly the longest gap i have ever had! haha Well, I feel like I should upload when I want to and when i am in the right mood, To be really honest, during this gap time, not a much happened, so I am not gonna tell anyway,, haha On this one, I will post the last coffee shop I went with travel gangs. I literally thought I had it uploaded after the 4th one, Somehow, I didn't notice and I forgot to put it out when it should have been done back then. haha Apology! So, obviously, as it is the story about already few months ago, my memory could be really vague. But Ill try to make it as accurate as possible!! This is our last day in Dublin, we all packed up and left the airbnb. We still have some time to kill until flight time, so decided to wander around and went to the last specialty coffee stop, carrying our heavy luggage, backpack at the same time.! It was pouring down so not really ideal. We managed to arrive, the name of the coffee shop is 'Reference coffee' Address : 49 Pleasants Street, Portobello, Dublin 8, D08 XHF2, Ireland Facebook ; www.facebook.com/referencecoffee/ Instagram ; www.instagram.com/referencecoffee/?hl=en Again, I found this shop online when I was browsing specialty coffee shops in Dublin, and checked Instagram and stuff then it looked really nice, So I suggested that we could come for for a coffee. There is a cafe right next to it which is connected both inside and outside to Reference coffee. It is called Meet me in the morning, They are like sister shops. They both have their own entrance and meet me in the morning is more like an actual cafe with tables and more space lunch breakfast menu, whereas reference coffee only does coffee and some sweets which are made by next door. So it seemed to be an interesting and next business style. It was a busy time when we were there, so we waited for a bit to be seated, so got the coffee from reference and we were sat in the cafe, ordered some brunch with another coffee from reference!! haha The coffee shop is really tidy and clean, only offer some typical drinks. Unique custormised La marzocco Machine which I fell in love with, It has a great colour and coordinating nicely with the shop interior! Baristas there were all friendly and all highly skilled!! Obviously, it was great taste!! After that, we enjoyed the brunch! Food there was also amazing !!! There we go! This will be the end of coffee journey in Dublin!! It took bloody ages to complete this, but finally getting it done!! Where should I go travel for more coffee discovery next??? # Some reason, cant upload the pictures, so they will be up once i figured it out how to fix. Cheers!!! Y |
