Hi guy! How are you all doing today? Hope you are having a lovely day!!! Where have I been? The answer is that I have just not been consistent with uploading blogs!! I could have done this, but I didn't!! I admit my laziness on this blog. I will just say I have been with work as in real work ( Barista) recently since now I became a full time. In fact, today' topic is about over a month ago when I visited London and went to a Japanese ramen shop!! It was during my holidays and I spent a few days in Exeter and then I spent one night in London. I had few hours to kill before my coach time, so I decided to do a bit of touristy thing in there! And I ended up going to a Japanese Ramen shop I have always wanted to visit when I come to London!! I finally had a chance to do it, so I did it!! I was not easy on the way to get there because as you ca imagine, travelling involves a huge amount of stuff to carry with I mean most of the time!! haha Therefore, when I arrived , my legs were dead and I was super hungry!! The restaurant it called ' IPPUDO'.... Location : 3 Central Saint Giles Piazza Street, Giles High Street, London, WC2H 8AG, UK Website: www.ippudo.co.uk There are actually three branches in the centre of London now!! It is a definite proof of its popularity!! I only specified one of the addresses that I actually visited. The rest of the branches are also located in London still!! As you can see the picture above, the restaurant looks quite posh and fancy and also extravagant! Everything is expensive in London, so I understand why it looks so brilliantly shining. Mostly because of the good camera quality I suppose! haha As a bit of an explanation, this ramen shop is actually founded in japan and now has become internationally renowned ramen chain and it seems to be a quite success!! This company is such a famous one even in Japan and there are a number of outlets in Japan as well!! When I was in Sydney, there was an Ippudo there, too, so I have been that one, too! You can see this brand brought the Ramen culture to the other countries and cultivated our Japanese food culture!! Yes, we do eat Ramen quite a lot and there are just a large number of independent shops in Japan with unique flavour and soup and all that! It is such an amazing thing that I can experience the same taste as I enjoyed back in Japan!! Especially when I miss Japanese food which happens so many times, you can go there and have a great ramen and make me appreciate the goodness of Japanese food!! That is the one I ordered and it was a new one on the menu, so I felt like I had to try! And it looked most delicious anyway!! But normally they have all the pork-bone based soup with added soy sauce and miso. There are some other Japanese bowl meals and side dishes on top of the Ramen menu!! The one I had was a slightly spicier than their ordinary ones which I really liked about, Since I haven't been able to eat such a high quality ramen for ages, I was so satisfied after I finished the meal, In fact, I finished the soup, too which is a bit too much for me! lol Even though it was like £15 for it which is kinda expensive for one bowl of ramen, it was definitely worth it! It was that good anyway!! I wish there was another shop in Brighton as well, I would definitely be a regular customer and spend quite a lot of money! lol I mean you just want to go to sometimes not all the time! When you guys have a chance going to London and are hungry, you should definitely check out the place, and I can promise you will enjoy it and probably get addicted to it!! That is all from me about this ramen shop! I could talk about it more, but then it would be too long and rambling. I will go back to cafe blog again in the next article whether you're excited or not! haha Anyways, See you until then!! Cheers!! Y
