Hello guys!! It is me YUTA back in this cafe blog page! I feel like I haven't done much on here for a while. I did upload some stuff on the other pages if you wanna checkout! Especially the travel page, go onto that one! I have written my trip to Amsterdam as a quite long article and today's blog is part of that journey but only focused on the cafe I visited along the way! It was my second day of the trip when I went to that cafe! It was more like a proper restaurant to me tho! I was searching a place where we can have an amazing food for lunch because when you are on the holiday you wanna eat good food! And looking around Heineken Experience because when we left the place, it was the perfect time for the lunch! I just basically used Google Maps to check the cafe nearby. Some people use TripAdvisor, but this time I simply trusted the google maps and check some of the pics on there and the looked really nice, so we decided to visit there after Heineken! I was feeling a bit weird and funny on the way there after I had a pint of beer which I don't normally do in the day time! I was walking the street with a red face! haha When we got there, it was quite busy, we waited for about 10 mins to be seated. It is the proof of how good this place can be! The cafe is called ' Bakers & Roasters' Address: Eerste Jacob van Campenstraat 54, 1072 BH Amsterdam, Netherlands Website: www.bakersandroasters.com My first impression of this cafe is really good!! It is full of customers and nice vibe and I like the layout of how tables and chairs are located. It is like very organised from the entrance and all the way to the conservatory consistently. All the waiters are so friendly and dealt with English fine! I was so surprised every time I talk to someone in English and It didn't make me feel like I was in another country. haha On the menu there were too much choice to choose from! It was almost impossible to make a decision straight away! I was literally having a cheeky peak of what other customers were eating and getting some clues from them! haha And finally it took me a while, but I ended up having this (see the picture below as I can't remember the name. lol), But it was honestly sooooo good! I can't even describe how delicious it was! It's got sourdough sliced bread, some spinach, poached eggs and what I really liked was this sauce called Holland sauce! I can't explain the taste but it was amazing! My friend's one looked also real good with piles of salmons on top!! I am not going lie they are slightly pricy as this cafe is partly for the tourists , so they can make money for that! haha However, it was definitely worth it! And it was quite a big portion, so I felt so filled up after that!!! So I think overall we both really enjoyed the stay in the cafe and food in there, If I was a citizen there, I would probably go there every now and then just for a coffee and be a regular customer! haha I would highly recommend to visit here when you visit Amsterdam! I have got another food blog post to put up from Amsterdam, so if you are interested, please keep your eyes on this, I will put it out when I have a chance hopefully soon!! Hope you enjoyed this little Amsterdam cafe blog. I can't wait to come back on here with another content!! That's all today!! See you all soon! Cheers! Y
